We walked here from our hotel for breakfast. The place is dated, the service is good, and the breakfast was slightly expensive and decent. However, they won me over with morning mimosas. $3.50 a pop- yes- tasty way to start my day, yes PLEASE. ;)

They recently changed ownership I think since it used to be called "Family Chef". The prices were better back then and it seems the charm of the place has waned. We used to make this an annual stop for breakfast, but I think with the changes, we don't plan on going back.

This was thee worst place ever! The service was so slow and no one was there really. The prices are crazy for what they give you. $10 for a crummy chicken salad served in bagged iceberg lettuce. Prime rib dinner was a rip off and they made us pay for everything and yelled at us saying the food was fine. WORSE RESTAURANT EVER!!

Food was okay, the service was TERRIBLE. Our server "Tammy" was the worst - it was Saturday night and we were the only people there except for one other family. First, she messed up the drink order, then she messed up two of the entrees - at which point she was rude to our 12 year old daughter. It was clear that she didn't want to be working that night. My husband commented that we would likely not come back and she replied that they wouldn't be open after tomorrow anyway. We blew off the smart aleck comment and asked for the check, which she brought. Unfortunately it was for the other table. We overheard her at the table behind us saying she was "so ready for the season to be over". Even if you DO feel that way, you shouldn't say it out loud. Upon leaving we commented to the cashier about all of the mistakes, to which Tammy called out "Oh, and you never make mistakes?!" Another comment she should have said internally, not out loud. The rest of the staff we encountered was very pleasant, so were it not for our server, we would probably go back. The food was okay, not out of line price wise for the Dells.

This was the strangest experience in a while... We walked into the restaurant and we were the ONLY customers there. It was straight outta the Twilight Zone! And this restaurant is a fairly decently sized place! But, in their defense, we went in for lunch at 2:15pm, on a Thursday afternoon (Labor Day weekend), so the busy season is winding down. Service was great! Our waitress was nice enough, and kept coming to check on us, keeping our drinks full. The food was good! Much better than anticipated! I had a grilled cheese on sourdough, my mom had a BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Their fries were delish! The place looks like an old-fashioned diner, or greek restaurant. I mean, it's definitely older (it had one of those old-fashioned spinning pie displays, but filled with wine, LOL). In the menu, it also looked like they had old fashion styled fountain ice-creams and shakes. They looked great! But by then end of our dinner I didn't have room for it. Hey! I guess I'd go back since it seems pretty dependable. Definitely a casual restaurant, so no need to worry about dress.

oh, this is mitzi's... wished i had known that before dining here. i always look to yelp for any warnings. our party of 8 including starving kids really had no choice in the matter as we got a late start and brunch crowds were already built up. i'm not sure how this place is still alive (mimi disguised as mitzi's or whatever). i'm not sure how anyone is alive after eating here as well with the amount of butter they use to cook everything. stupidly expensive for basically toast and eggs - portions so small they are served on side plates. i asked for the pepper omelette without the ham and they said that was impossible - everything is already sauteed together? excuse me? i should've left right there and then. i think my pores are still draining out the butter i ingested that day. head to the local mcdonald's or gas station instead.

It's called Mitzi's now. Wide array of menu items. Great service, decent breakfast, and moderate prices.

To start off, this place is now called Mitzi's. It was nice and clean and the food was decent. I came her with my sister and my toddler today for a late lunch. My sister ordered the cod and the mashed cauliflower with garlic. I ordered the chicken strips with sweet potato fries. My sister liked her plate and my food tasted like a typical fried chicken strip meal. It was kind of on the pricy side for what it was. That's probably why I wouldn't go back. But I think the reason why if doesn't get as much business as some of these other more crowded places may be more than just price, it also may be due to location. The place is at the far end of Broadway way past the tourist shops. If you are nervous about eating food at unfamiliar places, this is a safe bet with good variety but you are going to pay more for it.

We ate here last year and I'd have rated it a 3. Went back this year because it wasn't busy and other places were. Insert head slap. We had the worst service I've experienced in a long time. Food was ok, nothing special, and took over 30 minutes to get. One waitress was hustling and had to help us because our waitress was MIA most of the time. I'm talking needing basics like silverware and water that took several minutes to get. We won't go back next year.

YIKESSS!! That pretty much sums this place up! Ok...the first attempt at coming here was at about 8:30 PM on a Tuesday evening, I say attempt because we were turned away as we pulled in the parking lot by a woman in the doorway telling us they were closing because they hadn't had a customer come in for over 2 hours. Red Flag central, right?! But no...not us! We were glutton for punishment and tried again the next night for an early dinner at around 5 PM. We get there and the place is CRICK-ETS!!! There is an old cake spinning refrigerator that no longer spins and is filled with cheap wine bottles and some sheer fabric, you know, to keep it sexy. So all you can hear is the buzz of the machine and the lights, no music, no conversation, oh yeah, because we were the only ones in the place besides a seemingly mute older couple. We get seated immediately, obviously. And our waitress crawls over and takes our drink orders and the kids meal order (not what I wanted to order, because I tried to order them pancakes with bacon only to be told that this family restaurant only serves breakfast in the morning, REALLY?!). We then place our sad order and I tried to order soup and salad only to be told that you can only order that for lunch...really...I just wanted to leave, but the kids were hungry and crabby and that was unfortunately not an option. Shit. Around the table we had salads with their signature avocado ranch dressing, a Reuben, sliders and chili. Everything was pretty much less than mediocre. That avocado ranch tasted SO nasty, I don't know what the deal was with that but it was gross! The sliders were okay, as was the chili, actually the chili was probably the best thing we had and that is NOT saying much. The absolute worst thing was the Reuben. It was supposed to have freshly sliced corned beef, um, yeah, pretty sure it was Buddig. Seriously. Each piece was pretty much the same size and there was nothing "fresh" about it. The waitress was pretty short and not that friendly which did not help the situation at all. Overall, I would NEVER go back to this place and honestly, don't understand why they have been open as long as it says they have. Yuck, just yuck.

Mediocre at best... Had the pesce romano or something like that. I got dry over-cooked fish covered in watery diced tomatoes (supposedly basil bruschetta... Didn't see of taste any basil. Pasta was over-done too). Ice cream soda was good and my wife liked their spinach pie. As with most diners, fried food and deserts seem to be their strong points. I honestly should have know better... I was just in the mood for fish and wasn't feeling fried anything. If you stick with burgers, fries (their sweet potato fries are pretty damn good) and at my wife's recommendation, the spinach pie... you should be ok. The service was... odd. I just don't understand how you can work at a restaurant and not know something about every dish. How can you effectively help a diner choose if you have to respond with 'I've never tried it, but I hear it's good. Lot's of people order it.' That's a standard diner/greasy spoon response, I know... it just bothers me. And it was offered as a reply far too often in this instance. I don't think she had tried anything on the menu. Our server seemed distracted, while other servers stood around watch the olympics on TV. I had to ask for a refill a few times. We were brought a side of fries that we didn't order. Our server then proceeded to wander from sever to server trying to figure out who's it was. Turns out no one order it. Like I said... she was nice enough. It overall interaction was just odd.

After a long day of fun at the waterpark we worked up an appetite and headed to Mimi's from a recommendation. The service here was outstanding. Our waitress was as sweet as the apple cobbler they serve here. The food here was decent. All the adults in my party ordered steak and they were cooked just the way everyone ordered them. I was a little disappointed because my mashed potatoes were cold. We also ordered the mini desserts which were just the right size after a large meal. My mom and I ordered the cobbler and my brother ordered the brownie. All three were a la mode and well worth the journey from the hotel.
